• Generous Paid Time OffJOB DESCRIPTION:Dietitians and nutritionists perform nutritional assessments and comprehensive nutrition counseling on all admitted patients. Dietitians and nutritionists are experts in using food and nutrition to promote health and manage disease.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform comprehensive nutritional screening and assessment upon admission
  • Evaluate and monitor nutrition-related changes for the continuum of care
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary rounds to coordinate patient's needs and care
  • Provide recommendations for artificial nutrition support as needed
  • Keeping informed about the latest discoveries in nutrition
  • Provide in-services on nutrition-related topics for facility staff as neededREQUIREMENTS:
    • Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist credential is mandatory. New graduates are welcome to apply.
    • Must be registered with New York State to obtain the CDN credential.
    • Bachelor's degree in nutrition, health, or a related field.
    • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, public speaking, and listening skills.
    • Willingness to continue training and research to keep current on the latest discoveries and developments in the field.
