Job Description:
Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (OAL) is a leader in
orthopedic care with five locations across Lancaster and Lebanon
counties. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified
Medical Assistant, Radiologic Technologist, or Athletic Trainer to
join our clinical team as a Clinical Assistant.Schedule/Work
Environment:Full-TimeWeekdays 5-hour and 10-hour shifts between
6:45am-6:00pmEmployees receive a shift differential for time worked
in the evenings past 5:30pm and any time on the weekends.No CallJob
Description/Duties:Welcome Patients to the practiceEnsure all
related reports, labs and information are filed and available in
patients' medical records prior to their appointmentPrepares
patients for examination, including suture/staple removalAcquire
vitals and accurately document in EMRInterview patient for
allergies, medications, and historyAssist the physician in the exam
roomPrepare Injections/supplies using sterile techniqueApply
Durable Medical Equipment (DME)Provide patient education for care
after visitMaintain equipment and stock exam roomsAssist with
patient check-outProvides patients with accurate information when
answering questions and concernsComplete referrals accurately and
appropriatelyAcquire radiographic images using ALARA when licensed
according to state regulationOther Responsibilities:Adheres to
company policies and proceduresMaintains patient records and
protects patient confidentialityDemonstrates a strong commitment to
the mission and values of the organizationAdheres to company
attendance standardsPerforms other duties as assignedRequired
Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDCurrent licensure or
certification for LPN, CMA, RTR, or ATCValid CPR
certificationAbility to Walk/Stand frequentlyPreferred
Qualifications:Prior experience using EPICStrong organization
skillsSuperior Customer Service SkillsDemonstrates strong verbal
