TravelNurseSource is working with MedCadre to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Brooklyn, New York, 11203 Pay Information $3,000 to $3,200 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery Location: Brooklyn, NY Job Category: Acute - Nursing Department: Labor & Delivery Schedule: Start Date: 12/02/2024 36 hours per week, 12 hours per day 3 days per week with rotating weekends and holidays Shift Time: 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM Position Overview: We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery with maternal and child care experience. The ideal candidate must have strong IV insertion and phlebotomy skills, experience in conscious sedation, and a deep commitment to providing quality care to patients. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to laboring mothers and their newborns. Manage IV insertions, perform phlebotomy, and administer conscious sedation as required. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery. Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare providers, and staff to ensure optimal care delivery. Assist with patient education and discharge planning. Maintain compliance with all state and hospital protocols and standards. Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maternal and child care, IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
