  • Provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research

  • Implements process improvement strategies based on evidence-based practices
    • Job Requirements
    • NYS RN License
    • BLS certification
    • 2 years of Medical Unit experience
    • Minimum 2 years RN experience
    • 1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
    • EPIC experience highly preferred
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 Schedule with weekends required
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Avg Unit Census = 22
        • 29 Beds in Unit
        • Staffing Guidelines 1:6
          • Additional Details
          • Charge nurse duties as assigned
          • Coordinates with Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Manager
          • Documents in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
          • Facilitates patient throughput on shift basis
