Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Overview
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel
Emergency Department (ER) RN to join our team. This role is ideal
for a dedicated and adaptable nurse who thrives in a fast-paced
environment, providing high-quality patient care in an acute
setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency
Department
Perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with
healthcare teams
Respond to critical situations and deliver immediate, life-saving
interventions
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with
hospital policies
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge
instructions
Requirements
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
Minimum 1+ year of recent travel ER RN experience required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
NRP certification (must be obtained through AHA, ASHI, or ARC
before the start)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications requiredAbout Protouch
