PeopleShare is seeking a Quality Control Chemist AND Quality Technical Writer for a growing pharmaceutical company in Cranbury, NJ! This position supports pharmaceutical quality through analytical testing and regulatory compliance, with added responsibilities in technical writing for QC and Analytical Development.
Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Pay: $35-$40/hour
• Type: Contract-to-Hire
• Location: Cranbury, NJ (Onsite) Responsibilities:
  
  • Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using techniques like HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy
  • Conduct stability testing and validate analytical methods to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Write and maintain SOPs, test methods, specifications, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and stability reports
  • Maintain detailed records of lab activities, test results, deviations, and corrective actions in alignment with GMP and GLP standards
  • Collaborate with QC analysts, AR&D teams, contract labs, and QA to ensure documentation and analytical accuracy
  • Assist with regulatory submissions and audit preparations
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
  • Train QC personnel on documentation best practices
  • Identify gaps in documentation and recommend improvements Qualifications:
    
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
    • 2+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC lab or similar environment
    • Proficiency with HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and familiarity with FDA, ICH, USP, EP, and cGMP regulations
    • Experience in technical writing within a pharmaceutical/biotech setting, especially in QC/Analytical Development
