The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and consistent output of high-quality food products. This role requires a strong focus on safety, cleanliness, and following standard operating procedures in a food-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate various production machines according to specifications


Monitor machine operations and product quality, making adjustments as needed


Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery


Complete production logs and documentation accurately and on time


Follow all safety and food safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and sanitation procedures


Communicate with supervisors and maintenance teams to report issues or suggest improvements


Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)



Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent


Prior experience operating machinery in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred


Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills


Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures


Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to follow instructions


Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed
